Business Email Price in India (2026): 6 Providers Compared

Business email price in India for October 2026: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, GoDaddy and Hostinger in INR, with GST, renewals and yearly totals.

Business email in India costs ₹59 to ₹270 per user per month on the mainstream plans as of October 2026: Zoho Mail Lite ₹59, Google Workspace Base ₹99, Microsoft 365 Business Basic ₹170 and Google Workspace Starter ₹270, each on a one-year commitment and each before 18% GST. GoDaddy (₹39) and Hostinger (₹29) advertise lower prices for the first term that rise at renewal, and Zoho still has a free plan for up to five users, without IMAP access.

Every price below comes from the provider's own Indian pricing page, checked on 22 October 2026, in rupees per mailbox per month. Prices change often, so treat this as a dated snapshot and check the cart before you pay.

Business email price in India: the October 2026 table

One mailbox means one user with one login, such as you@yourbusiness.in. "IMAP" means the mailbox works in the Gmail app, Outlook, Apple Mail and other mail apps, with folders kept in sync across your phone and laptop.

Two things the table can't show well. First, GST: HostEthical isn't GST-registered, so no GST is added to its price; for every other paid row, expect 18% more at checkout. Second, introductory prices: Google, GoDaddy and Hostinger all have cheaper first terms, explained in each provider's section below.

Google Workspace pricing in India per month

The Google Workspace India pricing page lists four plans as of October 2026. Prices are per user per month on a one-year commitment, billed monthly, and exclude tax:

  • Base, ₹99. Gmail on your own domain, Calendar, Meet (100 participants), Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides, with 20 GB of pooled storage per user. New customers get 50% off (₹49.50) for the first three months. Google's help centre says Base is available only in India and supports 1 to 20 users.
  • Starter, ₹270. 30 GB pooled per user, up to 300 users, plus Gemini in Gmail and Google Vids.
  • Standard, ₹1,080. 2 TB per user, meeting recording, appointment booking pages and eSignature. New customers pay ₹864 for the first 12 months, for up to 20 users.
  • Enterprise: price on request from Google's sales team.

The page shows the annual-commitment price by default and says the one-year commitment saves 16%, so the no-commitment Flexible plan costs more each month. We couldn't confirm the Flexible rupee prices, so they are left out.

On names: the pricing cards now say Base, Starter and Standard, while the footnotes and Google's help centre still say Business Base, Business Starter and Business Standard. They are the same plans. The last price change Google announced across its Business plans came on 16 January 2025, when it built Gemini AI into them and raised prices slightly: from the next day for new customers, and from 17 March 2025 or the next annual renewal for existing ones.

Base supports IMAP and POP mail clients and Microsoft Outlook, so you aren't tied to the Gmail website. A Workspace user can send up to 2,000 emails a day, or 500 during a trial, according to Google's sending limits.

Microsoft 365 Business Basic price in India

Microsoft's Indian plans page shows these prices as of October 2026, each marked "GST extra as applicable":

  • Business Basic, ₹170 per user per month paid yearly, or ₹204 on a monthly subscription. You get Exchange email with a 100 GB mailbox and 50 GB archive, 1 TB of OneDrive storage, Teams, and the web and mobile versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Business Standard, ₹860 paid yearly or ₹1,032 monthly, which adds the desktop Office apps.
  • Business Standard with Copilot, ₹1,955, and Business Premium with Copilot, ₹2,660, both paid yearly. Microsoft's page also points to packaging and pricing updates for its business suites from 1 July 2026.

Microsoft's email-only plan, Exchange Online (Plan 1), is listed at ₹335 paid yearly with a 50 GB mailbox: nearly twice the price of Business Basic. Unless you specifically want a mailbox without Teams or the Office web apps, Business Basic is the cheaper way into Outlook and Exchange.

IMAP and POP are enabled by default in Exchange Online, but Microsoft switches them off for organisations using its "security defaults". Outlook and Microsoft's own apps are the smoothest route. There is a one-month free trial, and it needs a credit card.

Zoho Mail India pricing, including the free plan

Zoho's Indian pricing page shows these per-user monthly prices as of October 2026, with GST charged on top:

  • Forever Free, ₹0: one domain, up to five users, 5 GB each. IMAP, POP and ActiveSync are not included, so you use Zoho's webmail and apps, and Zoho says the plan is offered only in some of its data centres. Our post on whether Zoho Mail is still free covers the catches.
  • Mail Lite, ₹59 for 5 GB or ₹75 for 10 GB, billed yearly. There is no monthly plan.
  • Mail Premium, ₹199 billed yearly: 50 GB plus 50 GB of retention storage, eDiscovery and S/MIME.
  • Workplace Standard, ₹99 yearly or ₹129 monthly: 30 GB of mail plus shared WorkDrive storage, with Writer, Sheet and Show (Zoho's documents, spreadsheets and slides), Cliq chat and Meeting.
  • Workplace Professional, ₹399 yearly or ₹489 monthly, with 100 GB of mail.

Paid Zoho users connect mail apps through Zoho's IMAP server for organisations. One quirk is worth knowing: Workplace Standard, with an office suite and 30 GB, costs only ₹24 a month more than Mail Lite 10 GB. If you would use the documents and chat, it is the better buy.

GoDaddy, Hostinger and Titan email prices: check the renewal

Web hosts tend to sell email the way they sell hosting: a low first term and a higher renewal. Read the small print before comparing their headline price with Zoho or Google.

GoDaddy Professional Email (powered by Titan)

GoDaddy India lists these per-mailbox monthly prices for the first one-year term, as of October 2026: Pro Light ₹39 (10 GB), Pro Plus ₹89 (30 GB), Premium ₹149 (50 GB) and Ultra ₹269 (100 GB). Its disclaimer says prices exclude taxes and that discounted products renew at the then-current renewal rate. The page doesn't print that rate for these plans, so check the cart before you pay.

The same page shows how big a renewal jump can be on another product: Microsoft 365 Email Essentials costs ₹149 a month in the first year (₹1,788 paid upfront) and auto-renews at ₹4,788 a year, about ₹399 a month.

Hostinger email price

Hostinger India lists these prices before GST, per mailbox per month on a 48-month term: Starter ₹29 (5 GB), renewing at ₹69; Standard ₹49 (20 GB), renewing at ₹119; Premium ₹79 (50 GB), renewing at ₹179. Hostinger explains that plans are paid upfront and the monthly figure is the total divided by the months in the term, so Starter means paying ₹1,392 at once for four years. A current offer gives a third mailbox free when you buy two on a term of 12 months or longer. Hostinger email supports IMAP and POP.

Titan email price and Rediffmail

Titan mostly sells through hosts such as GoDaddy, and its own website had no public price page when we checked. Rediffmail Enterprise's business page lists 10 GB at ₹510 a year, but its home page shows different "starting" prices and neither page says whether GST is included, so we've left Rediffmail out of the tables.

Cheapest business email in India: yearly totals for 1, 5 and 10 mailboxes

Monthly prices hide the bill you will actually pay. These are yearly totals at the regular price where the provider publishes it, before 18% GST, as of October 2026:

Plan1 mailbox5 mailboxes10 mailboxesNote

Hostinger Starter₹828₹4,140₹8,280At the ₹69 renewal rate; ₹348 a year during the first 48 months
Zoho Mail Lite 10 GB₹900₹4,500₹9,000Yearly billing only

Zoho Workplace Standard₹1,188₹5,940₹11,880Includes an office suite
Microsoft 365 Business Basic₹2,040₹10,200₹20,400₹2,448 per user on a monthly subscription
Google Workspace Starter₹3,240₹16,200₹32,400Needed above 20 users
HostEthical MailEmail 1, yearly price belowEmail 5, yearly price belowAsk usNo GST added; same price at renewal

To compare like with like, add GST to the other providers' figures: five Microsoft 365 Business Basic users cost ₹10,200 a year before tax and ₹12,036 with 18% GST. Hostinger's totals are before its buy-two-get-one offer, which would lower the 5 and 10 mailbox figures.

So the cheapest business email in India depends on what you count. For no money at all, Zoho's free plan works if five webmail-only users are enough. For the lowest regular price with IMAP, Zoho Mail Lite wins. GoDaddy and Hostinger can be cheaper at first, but only if you accept a long upfront term or an unknown renewal.

Professional email price at HostEthical

HostEthical Mail starts at ₹79 a month, or about ₹65.83 a month when billed yearly. It runs on our own mail server, not a resold Google, Zoho or Titan product, and the price stays the same at renewal, monthly or yearly. There are two plans: Email 1, one mailbox with 10 GB, and Email 5, five mailboxes with 10 GB each. Live prices:

Plan MailboxesStorageSending Monthly Yearly
Email 1 110 GB each100 emails/hour per mailbox ₹79 ₹790
Email 5 510 GB each100 emails/hour per mailbox ₹299 ₹2,990
  • Works where you already read mail: webmail in any browser, plus IMAP and SMTP, so you can add it to the Gmail app on Android or iPhone, Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird.
  • Set-up done for you: if your domain uses our nameservers, we add the MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records automatically. Otherwise the dashboard shows the exact records to add at your DNS provider.
  • What it doesn't have: no POP3, no Exchange or ActiveSync, no shared calendars and no office suite. If your team needs those, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 fits better.
  • Free with hosting: every HostEthical web hosting plan includes 1 GB mailboxes: one on Lite and Starter, three on Business and five on Pro.

You need your own domain for any of these services. If you don't have one yet, our guide to creating a business email ID with your own domain walks through it.

One price, every year. HostEthical Mail renews at the price you signed up at, works in the Gmail app over IMAP, and sets up your DNS records for you when your domain uses our nameservers. See business email →

Sending limits and other costs the price leaves out

A mailbox price assumes ordinary one-to-one email. A few limits and extra costs catch people out:

  • Daily sending limits. Personal Gmail stops at 500 emails a day, Google Workspace at 2,000, and HostEthical Mail at 100 emails an hour per mailbox. Two hundred emails a day to customers is fine on all of them.
  • Bulk mail. Newsletters and promotions belong on a bulk email service, not on a business mailbox. HostEthical Mail doesn't permit bulk or marketing email.
  • Website emails. Contact form and WooCommerce order emails are a separate job. On HostEthical hosting they must go through an email service's API, as our guide to WordPress not sending email explains.
  • The free Gmail workaround is going away. Google says Gmail on the computer will no longer fetch mail from other accounts over POP; the Gmail mobile app still connects over IMAP. That makes IMAP support worth checking in any plan. See what changes for Gmail users.
  • The domain itself. Your domain renews every year on top of the email bill. Our breakdown of what a website costs in India puts domain, hosting and email together.

Which business email should you pick?

Start with one question: do you want just email, or email plus documents, file storage and video calls?

When Google Workspace is worth it

If your team already works in Google Docs, Sheets and Drive, Workspace Base at ₹99 is strong value in India: a full suite and 20 GB per user for about the price of plain email elsewhere. It caps at 20 users, so a growing team will move to Starter at ₹270. Pick Google if you want Meet, Drive and Gmail's interface without adding other tools.

When Microsoft 365 is worth it

If clients send you Word and Excel files, or you already live in Outlook and Teams, Business Basic at ₹170 gives you a 100 GB mailbox, far more than the other entry-level plans, and 1 TB of OneDrive. It also has a published monthly price, ₹204, if you'd rather not commit for a year. If you need the desktop Office apps, budget for Business Standard instead.

When plain email is enough

Many small businesses only need a few addresses that look professional and work on the phone. Zoho Mail Lite is the cheapest regular price with IMAP; Zoho Workplace Standard adds a suite for ₹99. Host-sold email from GoDaddy, Hostinger or HostEthical suits owners who want everything with one company, as long as you check the renewal price. HostEthical's is the same as the first payment.

Whichever you choose, set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC so your messages reach the inbox; our guide to why business emails go to spam shows how. If you are moving from one provider to another, keep the old mailboxes open until the new MX records are working.

Just need email that works? If your team doesn’t need Docs or Teams, HostEthical Mail gives you 10 GB mailboxes with webmail and IMAP. If it does, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is the better buy. See business email →

Frequently asked questions

How much does Google Workspace cost in India?

As of October 2026, Google Workspace costs ₹99 per user per month for Base, ₹270 for Starter and ₹1,080 for Standard, on a one-year commitment billed monthly, with GST on top. Base is sold only in India, allows up to 20 users and includes Gmail on your domain, Drive, Docs and Meet. New customers get Base at half price for three months and Standard at ₹864 for the first year.

Will Google Workspace prices increase in 2026?

Google had not shown any upcoming price rise on its Indian pricing page when we checked in October 2026, and that page is the place to watch. Its last change across Business plans was announced in January 2025, when Gemini AI was built in and prices rose slightly. The Base and Standard introductory discounts end after three and twelve months, so new customers will see their bill rise to ₹99 or ₹1,080 per user.

Can I send 200 emails daily with Gmail?

Yes. Google's limit for a personal Gmail account is 500 emails a day, and a Google Workspace user can send up to 2,000 a day, or 500 during a trial. Two hundred ordinary emails a day is well within both. For newsletters or promotions, use a bulk email service instead: business mailboxes, including HostEthical Mail with its limit of 100 emails an hour per mailbox, are not meant for bulk sending.

What is the cheapest business email in India?

Zoho Mail's Forever Free plan costs nothing for up to five users with 5 GB each, but it has no IMAP or POP access and is offered only in some Zoho data centres. Among paid plans, Zoho Mail Lite at ₹59 per user per month, billed yearly, was the lowest regular price we found in October 2026. GoDaddy (₹39) and Hostinger (₹29 on a four-year term) start lower but renew higher, and all three exclude GST.
